Hey guys, great little forum you have here! I just picked up a E71x off Craigslist, though im starting to wish i got a E71 after reading all the posts online of how so many features have been stripped from the E71x by comparison. I went ahead and called ATT customer support for the subsidy unlock code as many articles recommended, though kept running into hurdles with the people on the other end about where the phone came from, and where i bought it from, then finally they cam around to saying that they would not support phones purchased outside their plans. You see im using an old Cingular plan with an old Cingular SIM card, which will not at all work when i put it in the new E71x.
So ive been looking elsewhere to get this thing working, as so far ive only used the phone for browsing the web w/o a SIM installed. Have any of you used these online unlocking services before?
