The first of todays Nokia Press Conferences, Nokia, and Intel has just closed, and from it, I bring news of MeeGo, which is an open source, Linux project which brings together the Moblin project, headed up by Intel, and Maemo, by Nokia, into a single open source activity. Mobile applications, only need to be written once, and will work across many platforms, devices, and brands with MeeGo, be it a Mobile Phone, a Netbook, Notebook, Computer, or Multimedia pocket computer, applications created using this MeeGo based Solution will function perfectly, no matter which device its transferred to. No more losing your applications when renewing your devices.
