i want to change my firmware pecause i want to play ngage games or other symbian games installed on memory card !! for example if i instal prince of persia HD or Ferarri Gt HD that games with the dimension of 5 mb on memory card or other aplication i instal in my memory card it wont run if i start then i see just a black screen and the phones restars you know what im sayn dog ? and a person who works at nokia a friend just said that if i update or change my firmware it will work pecause nokia 6124c softwares
are the shities softwares possible ! they didnt work excelent like other software !! nokia 6124c is a complete failfure for nokia corporation man !! thats what im tryn to say dog ! and i think 6120c and 6124c are the same phones same memory ram same processor but different design man ! well...... im gonna go to install 6120c software v.06.01 i think its the ultimate relese for it ! at 6124c the only relese is 04.34 way to old ! well.....what can i say man ill wait for youre answer dog ! peace !

king17, firstly, im not a dog. I dunno, maybe your pals are, but I am not.

And if it is true, then your phone is simply a shit, get rid of it and get 6120c. Bcause 6120c is kinda old now and it is cheap, that wil lsolve most of your problems.

Also, your mentioned prince of persia HD or Ferarri Gt HD games might not work, because they are HD games, and 6120c (6124) are slow phones, so, even if you succeed to run them, they will most probably lag way too much...

thanks man if you think my phone is a shit and i insulted you very cool welcome for users ! nice very nice of you ! and prince of persia hd and ferarri hd works great on 6124c in phone memory not with lag if you want to know ! thanks anyway !

whats the difference betwen 6124c (RM-422)-4.34 v1
RM-422_0434_v1_6124c.exe - 52.0 Mb

and 6124c (RM-422)- 4.40 v3 (EMEA,APAC)
rm422_CareDP_3.0_EMEA_APAC_6124c.exe - 161.7 Mb
? ? ? ?

i want to instal the second one !

Well, if u say that POP and Ferrari HD works w/o any lag now, this means you succeeded launching them? No more blank screen?

And the difference between those two fw's is that the second one is newer one, thats all. I dont get it, why Nokia PC suite wont allow you to install latest 6124 fw...

redpepper007 when i pluged my phone in the usb and i selected pc suite or ovi suite (i try them both) and i was trying to update firmware it said that if not found i mean it doesnt found any new firmware! "No new firmware for youre nokia 6124c ! know what ? when i said that prince of persia and ferarri gt works yeah its works but only instaled in memory phone ! many people experience this thing man !

maybe you have this problems because your phone is branded from vodafone and they like to modify the firmware. maybe you need to debrand it. i had an problem with n73 that was branded on tre network and i was unable to hack it. after i debranded it was able to hack it.

Can anyone help me to flash(debrand) my nokia 6124c step by step? My Phone has lots of bugs with 4.34 ROmanian vodafone firmware..... I found a newer version of firmware v.4.40.. but when i try to update trough ovi suite or pc suite it said that firmware for youre nikia 6124c id not avaible sorry for my bad english.... Thanks to florin radu 94 ill wait for some help !

by the way i read on a forum that nokia 6124c is designed for vodafone. i don't think it can be debranded. but you can try a different firmware. good luck
