forgot my lock code on nokia n95 8gb ! " help"

i have tried this way :
1. Switch off the phone.
2. Hold down the following three buttons: Green (call answer) button, * button, and ‘3′ button
3. While holding these buttons, press the power button and switch on the phone
4. When the message ‘Formatting’ appears on the screen, release all of the buttons
and this didnt work , it still requires the lock code...
please help

Looks like you'll have to take it to your local Nokia Service Center and get them to reset the code. I believe this is normally done by re-flashing the phone, so you may as well ask for the latest firmware while you're there too!

the hard reset method must work. i used this method on my phone. i own n95 8gb.
keep pushed this keys:Green (call answer) button, * button, and ‘3′ button and don't relase them. now keep pressed the power button
when the region select screen appears, release all the buttons that have you pressed.
good luck
btw: the message Formating don't appears. only appears the nokia logo.
